I want to apply for your position offer as a video editor, and felt the need to write this special welcoming paragraphs, just for you. So, here I am.

I've been in the audiovisual business for 16 years now, after graduating from EICAR (International Film and Television School), knowing I was meant to be a video editor since age 15.

I began working on commercials and fast-paced edits with the biggest agency in Paris, PUBLICIS. Several producers there trusted my strong ability to understand and deliver successful videos, around really tight deadlines.

It then opened me a path to television, where I've been working on almost all the formats, from talk-shows and reality, to sport and documentaries.

Along that time, I continued to edit music videos, which is, as an MTV-90's kid, my major passion. I also need to mention that I'm a musician too, playing various instruments (guitar, bass, drums and production), because video editing is all about rhythm to me.

Now the reason I'm really excited about your job offer, is that I have a strong feeling I would be the perfect match regarding the qualifications you're looking for. As a matter of fact, I'm working for +10 years now on a tv-show aired by CANAL+CINEMA, where I'm in charge of all the visual content. This weekly show called LE CERCLE reviews most of the feature movies that come out every week in theaters. It is now a reference for both critics and fans. Among all the visual content created on After Effects, I assemble a different opening for every single show, which can be described as a trailer for all the movies reviewed. Furthermore, I strongly believe for a long time now that Netflix is the future of home entertainment, and would be thrilled to be a part of this adventure, anywhere in the world.

I'll finish by telling you that I'm super efficient on all the broadcast softwares : Premiere Pro, Avid MC, After Effects and all the Adobe CS.

And I've been told I'm super fast.
